CAFÉ Honors 2020 Award Recipients
Six secondary and post-secondary instructors have earned CAFÉ’s recognition for their innovation, leadership, sustainability efforts, and entrepreneurship work in culinary education. Each honoree receives a cash prize and plaque. Congratulations to following educators:
2020 Entrepreneurship Award, sponsored by Kendall College
The winner is Michael Carmel, Trident Technical College in South Carolina, $1,000
2020 Innovation Award, sponsored by Idaho Potato Commission
The winner is Jennifer Denlinger, Valencia College, Florida, $1,000
Green Award, sponsored by United Soybean Board
The winner is Culinary Institute of Michigan, Jamie LeRoux, $1,000
Honorable mention goes to Valencia College in Florida
Postsecondary Educator of the Year Award, sponsored by Sysco Corporation
The winner is Amanda Miller, Culinary Institute of Michigan, $1,500
