C-CAP Announces Leadership Change

Careers Through Culinary Arts Program’s (C-CAP) board of directors is pleased to announce that Karen Welch, chief administrative officer, will take operational control of C-CAP, as President Karen Brosius departs the national non-profit organization to return to her home and work at the University of South Carolina.

Celebrating its 30th Anniversary in 2020, C-CAP is reaching an important milestone and will be charting its future course in an effort to empower even more underserved youth through the culinary arts. Through real-world experiences, job training, life skills training, college advising, mentoring, and more, C-CAP students can build a foundation for a better life. C-CAP’s board of directors is proud of the organization’s previous accomplishments and excited by the promise of great things to come.
