CAFÉ Workshop Focuses on Successful Use of Social and Traditional Media

Want to brand your program or product with unique techniques? Come to CAFÉ’s fall workshop and learn how to manage (or create) your culinary image using both traditional and social media.

CAFÉ is holding the first-ever workshop designed to help foodservice professionals navigate the ever-shifting world of traditional and social media in Denver, Sept. 30 to Oct 2, at Metropolitan State University of Denver.

It is difficult to stand out in an environment dominated by media coming at people from cell phones, computers, magazines, televisions – really everywhere they look. This new workshop is designed to gain both the attention and comprehension of a culinarian’s intended audiences. Topics to be covered include: branding programs, products and foodservice outlets; collaborating with Internet-based foodservice partners; utilizing social media; and culinary tourism.

Attendees will also learn how to perfect a culinary pitch as well as tips and tricks for food photography using a phone.
