SPEAKING OF TELLING YOUR STORIES ….

Are you interested in presenting at the annual CAFÉ Leadership Conference in June 2023 in Charleston, South Carolina? We have a full day devoted to sharing educational best practices. Your presentation would be one hour in length. Presenters get $100 discount on their conference registration.

A committee will decide the balance of topics for the day. You can send your outline of an idea to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Put Education Presentation in the subject line.

DID YOU MEET (AT THE CAFÉ CONFERENCE) THE FOLKS BEHIND THE NEWEST CERTIFICATION FOR OUR PROFESSION?

2015 CCMP logo Stacked updatedThe Future of Food/Education has a new certification for foodservice professionals: the Certified Culinary Medicine Professional (CCMP).

Featuring a hybrid 45-credit curriculum comprised of online education, live conference learning, and hands on teaching kitchen modules, the CCMP program is designed for those passionate about integrating science-based nutrition research into their culinary skillset and will also equip candidates with the nutritional knowledge and culinary skills to optimize health.

CAFÉ will help educate the educators to the possibility of achieving this certification as well as integrating the modules into your existing curriculum.

This, in my opinion is a major breakthrough and offering guidance for culinary education of the future. It has been designed to help communicate practical, effective guidance to consumers as well as learn/reinforce the skill to produce food that is healthy and delicious.
