For Starters

The 6th Annual Deans and Directors Retreat will be held March 2-4, 2018, in San Antonio, Texas.

The event will feature keynoters, innovation panels, and time for reflection and discussion on some hot topic challenges that are on everyone’s mind.

The hotel we are staying in is the Drury Plaza Hotel on the Riverwalk and the deadline for our group rate is January 28, 2018!

The hotel features hot breakfasts every morning, snacks and cold drinks in the happy hour, and free wireless connections.

CAFE will bus attendees to/from the hotel and the college on Saturday and Sunday. Friday evening we will have a meet and greet at a restaurant on the Riverwalk, followed by a boat ride! Guests are welcome; just let the CAFE office know.

The CAFE membership is growing! We were pleased to see so many signups as we neared the winter break!

The Journal for Culinary Education Best Practices will be publishing its first article (available to members only) in the next couple of weeks. And your event discount is available as well!

Cost? $50 a year to be a part of the Center for the Advancement of Foodservice Education. Your participation helps keep the CAFE website and magazine sponsored.
