SponsorsThe combination of CAFÉ’s Deans and Directors Retreat and Leadership Conference held in Portland, Maine, June 22-24, was beautifully hosted and universally appreciated by all!

We will be posting pictures from the event so that you can share with others.

Couldn’t make it this year? Hope to see you in 2023!

Many thanks to our host: Southern Maine Community College.

Many thanks to our sponsor partners who offered educational materials as well as trends presentations.Staff

Many thanks to a great CAFÉ team: Mary Young (and daughter Erin); Lisa Parrish (and daughter Molly) and conference veteran, Sarah Gilbert (Mary Petersen’s niece!)

And special thanks to the attendees who were patient and practical as we navigated the campus and the buildings/rooms/change of spaces and more.

CAFÉ’s mission is to link the foodservice industry with the foodservice classroom. We will keep our focus going forward as we know that is what is needed and wanted by our community.

VOTE:

CAFÉ is considering three options for 2023:

  1.  A separate Deans and Directors Retreat (usually Friday evening, all day Saturday and out by lunch on Sunday)…sometime in March
  2.  A Leadership Conference (usually 2 ½ days including master classes)…sometime in June
  3.  A combined event (like this year) with three to three-and-a-half days (probably in June)

CAST YOUR VOTE: Let CAFÉ know your thoughts/preferences.
