Conference Focuses on the Healing Power of Food

Discover how community colleges are poised to be the catalyst for dynamic change in linking culinary arts, nursing, and allied health professions.

Culinarians, college administrators, medical professionals, and public health advocates are invited to a conference on the healing power of food at Brightwater: A Center for the Study of Food in Bentonville, Ark., October 5-7, 2017.

Attendees will learn how: to prepare low-cost, delicious and culturally-relevant meals in Brightwater’s culinary center; patient outcomes are changed through food-focused programs at hospitals, family medical centers, retailers and community organizations; and how community colleges are poised to be the catalyst for dynamic change in linking culinary arts, nursing and allied health professions. Registration is $100.
