6th Annual Deans and Directors Retreat

The Deans and Directors Retreat is an event for postsecondary program leaders who work in “the Hourglass” position; i.e., they have administration above them pushing down with the needs and requirements and they have to filter the information down to the faculty and students with whom they work.
 
This event focuses on skills and ideas that as administrators of a culinary/baking/pastry/hospitality programs will help them stay focused and grow the success rate of their colleges and their graduates. Topics often include effective communication styles; programs of the future; curriculum evaluations; faculty challenges; different learning styles; industry demands, etc. 
 
Join your colleagues in a format which allows for sharing of ideas and methods.  This event is limited to 50 participants to foster the sharing and the learning. ACF continuing education hours are awarded to participants.  The agenda will consist of an evening meet and greet on Friday night; all day Saturday and through lunch on Sunday.
 
Our host this year is St. Philip’s College and our hotel is on the quieter end of the River Walk!
